Line 10
Porte d'Auteuil

PreviousNext

This station has quite a complex layout and history. Back in the 1920s, the planners of Lines 8, 9 and 10 wanted to build a special station called Porte Molitor, to be used when there were special events at the nearby Parc des Princes stadium. Some trains would be diverted from Line 9 at Jasmin onto the Line 10 loop (although this section of track used to belong to Line 8). From there, they would stop at Michel-Ange - Auteuil, Porte d'Auteuil, and then take the middle track to Porte Molitor. Although the platform exists, no connection to the surface was ever built. In more recent times, this station was the terminus for all Line 10 trains, and would use the leftmost track to travel back down the loop towards Michel-Ange - Molitor. Nowadays all trains use the rightmost track and continue on to Boulogne. The central track leads to the Auteuil depot and the Porte Molitor platform, used only for stabling.
